ABOUT
Torch: A Musical Tale is an inspiring story of individuals finding their way through love, loss, and the pursuit of their own light. Set in an Icelandic Viking-like era, the musical follows the story of an orphaned boy named Torch, who has always felt destined for greater things. Ever since the Northern Lights were stolen by Morgano, an evil sorcerer, eighteen years ago, the Kingdom of Aurora has been thrown into darkness. Torch finds his fate intertwined with the kingdom’s when he encounters the mysterious Rogue Raven, who will change the course of his life forever. With the fate of the kingdom and the entire world hanging in the balance, Torch and his newfound friends set out together on a quest to restore hope before time runs out.

Christopher Dayett
(Music/Lyrics/Book)
has been directing and writing for over 20 years. He is a BroadwayWorld Regional Award-nominated director, actor, set designer, and lighting designer, and an award-winning actor, singer, and playwright. Chris' plays and musicals have been produced across the country. His musical, Dorian Gray, premiered Off-Broadway at the 2017 New York Musical Festival, earning the Show-Score Best in Fest Award. Torch: A Musical Tale is his 3rd full-length musical. He is a member of ASCAP and the Dramatists Guild of America. M.A. in Theatre from Villanova University.
Jeremy Goodman
(Musical Arrangements & Orchestrations)
is a composer, pianist, conductor, music director, arranger, and orchestrator. He holds a M.M. in Film Scoring and a B.M. in Music Composition from NYU and won a 2021 Gold Telly Award for Best Music Video. Goodman’s arrangements have been played by numerous orchestras across the country, including the National Symphony Orchestra at the Kennedy Center and recently with the Chicago Philharmonic at Carnegie Hall.
